Great hut in an exposed location surrounded by turquoise karse lakes. Here you can enjoy the view of regional dishes and homemade cakes. At night you can choose between bed and bed. Overnight inquiries can only be made via the portal huetten-holiday.de.

It's really great up here. In the middle of the mountains, great views, delicious food. Sometimes a very nice Nepalese sherpa works there in summer. With him you can make contact for perfectly organized, affordable trekking in Nepal. He also speaks German.

The cottage and the location is very nice. but ... I was there in July and the cabin was overcrowded. You had to take the dinner in turn and night was due to many reckless hikers (with their mountain guides) not to think. On the main hiking times it may not be advisable to spend the night there

If you hike the E5, you can usually not avoid stopping here. Those who are in good shape can go up from Madau and directly down to Zams, but should start early in the morning for the 22 km stretch. Unfortunately not feasible in one day with snow so we had to sleep here spontaneously. We were welcomed very well and looked after very well in our location. The hut is said to be very crowded in the summer months. Alternatively, you can also go down to the valley via the Ansbacher hut. Nonetheless, absolutely recommendable, if possible. Thank you very much for your hospitality, dear hut team! :)

The Memminger Hütte is at an altitude of 2,242m and is located on one of the highest mountains in the Lechtal Alps, the Parseier. It is also the second large hut on the E5 hike from Oberstdorf to Meran. The Memminger Hütte is also on the Lechtaler Höhenweg and is open from mid-June to the end of September.
The Memminger Hütte was built in 1886 and offers visitors 4-10 bed rooms and a mattress dormitory.
