Meissen railway station is the largest station in the city of Meissen. The 1860 opened station is located in the district Cölln. His 1928 newly built reception building is a listed building and applies next to the Stuttgart Central Station as an architecturally significant traffic structure of the interwar period. After cessation of long-distance traffic in the 1960s, the station now has only regional significance as a station of the S-Bahn Dresden. (Source: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahnhof_Meißen)
