Legend, story, legend

This chapel was built in 1982 by the Köstenberg hunters. The same year, the artist Rudolf Haidutschek attached the moving religious hunting motif to the back wall of the chapel.

The Köstenberger hunters built a year at the chapel, completely independently and without public funds. Many patrons and sponsors contributed to the creation of the Hubertuskapelle. Planning and supervision (Arch. Josef Driver, St. Egyden) were also free of charge. The inauguration took place on October 30, 1982, when 100 hunters who had previously taken part in the Hubertus hunt were present. The speech was given by Herbert Gröblacher.
