The place Schollach was mentioned for the first time in a document from 1280. At that time Schollach was a branch of the parish of Urach. 200 years later, in 1473, a chapel in Schollach was first mentioned, which was consecrated in 1515 in honor of St. Wolfgang. Legend has it that a wolf stole a child from the Lauleshof and then left it intact at the place where the little church was built.
