The railway bridge over the Jeetzel is part of the former railway line between Lüchow and Dannenberg. Unfortunately, trains have not run here for a long time. Until a few years ago, there were special trips once a year (to the Dannenberger Stadt Offensive), but now the route is too dilapidated in places and partly overgrown. Although there have been plans and discussions about reopening the route over the past 25 years, unfortunately not much has happened so far and the route continues to deteriorate.
