On the outskirts of the city you can see what energy generation could look like in the future. Because the future is already taking place here, in the form of a floating solar park. The 27.4 MWp system near Zwolle is the largest floating solar park in Europe. Such systems are particularly easy to set up and maintain on such former quarry ponds, and the cooling effect of the water ensures higher yields.
