The village of Pustá Rybná is located in the district of Svitavy in the Pardubice region. 156 inhabitants live here. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1392. The village belonged to the Rychmburg manor until in 1474 Polička bought some rights in the village and apparently since then Pusta Rybná has been divided into a part belonging to the royal city of Polička and a part belonging to the Rychmbur manor.
