Built in the Middle Ages, the building housed two presses which were rebuilt in the 15th century and were used to press the harvest of the surrounding vines, property of the Dukes of Burgundy. The wine from Chenôve's cellar was then drunk at the largest tables in Europe. The restored press room can be visited, so you can admire the ingenuity of winegrowers in the Middle Ages. ville-chenove.fr/les-pressoirs-des-ducs-de-bourgogne

Beautiful building but rarely open. A path runs alongside the building to the right to join the wine route.
