The open house around the walnut in Glabbeek is the work Symbiose by Hagelander Wilfried De Cock.
It symbolizes the fruit growers as family people, fused with nature, fruit growing and the landscape.
The structure of the bronze statue on top of the house consists of an imprint of the bark of an old apple tree from the De Levensbron organic farm in Attenrode.
