Very cute, easy for kids. Wonderful landscape.

The path is carved into the rock. Mountain biking, gravel or walking and recommended for the path. I still went with a road bike and I am not disappointed with the detour.

Stroll along the River Lot, in a beautiful setting, which will take you from the port of Bouziès to the foot of Saint-Cirq Lapopie (or vice versa).From the towpath, the "gabarres" (flat-bottomed boats) were pulled in convoys by men or draft animals. At the "Ganil" lock, the cliff falls steeply into the river, forcing the men to dig the limestone rock of the cliff for almost 1 km in 1845 by the strength of the arms. It is decorated with a bas-relief more than 30 meters long, carved in 1985 by the artist Daniel MONNIER from Toulouse. It evokes its representation of the river and its surroundings: fauna, flora, rocks, fossils and whirlpools.
