This way connected Cahors to Cajarc and terminus in Capdenac with various correspondences It was maintained in life thanks to the president G.Pompidou who had a residence in Cajarc, in spite of the notorious deficit of this line. The SNCF must sell the entire line to the county council to make it a greenway... in tar!!

This old railway line certainly connected the town of Figeac to that of Cahors by following the Célé. The link was dropped many years ago.

Be careful when crossing these bridges. During my last hike, the metal sheets fixed between the rails were falling... you might take a nice dip in the Lot River!
