Access by bike is a bit difficult and relatively long. Like all Roman remains in the Eifel, this complex also has something sober and brittle about it. It is located in the middle of a dark deciduous forest and you only notice it through a few hedges. The signage in front of the monuments is good, but it cannot hide the fact that Roman culture is just a poor copy of Greek. Roman architecture is functional, hardly decorative. Not a place to feel good.
