Access by bike is a bit difficult and relatively long. Like all Roman remains in the Eifel, this complex also has something sober and brittle about it. It is located in the middle of a dark deciduous forest and you only notice it through a few hedges. The signage in front of the monuments is good, but it cannot hide the fact that Roman culture is just a poor copy of Greek. Roman architecture is functional, hardly decorative. Not a place to feel good.

The last part of the journey by bike was quite dangerous as the path was steep and rocky. I was disappointed with the discrepancy between what once was (signs) and what is left today. All in all, not very exciting.
