Half-timbered details in the Brodhaus, in Marktstrasse, on the Lange Brücke, in Tiedexer Strasse, on the market square and in many other places. The town of Einbeck, which has existed since the early Middle Ages, is known for its brewing art (the 600-year-old Einbecker Bockbier) and its 400 colorfully restored, richly decorated half-timbered buildings. In addition to a city tour through the old town, visitors can learn about the history of Einbecker beer on the Einbecker Beer Trail, a tour of around 2.3 kilometers in length.

The old town is really nice. I experienced it in the evening. It is an ideal setting for various festivities, maybe you visit the Christmas market?
