The salt mine in Berchtesgaden is worth a visit, it's something special for children. You have to reserve appointments online and then you can easily park your car in a well-developed parking lot and then walk towards the salt mine. The tour lasts about 1 hour and there are 2 slides, which is fun for young and old.
