Road cycling

The tree-lined country road between Paretz and Uetz is not heavily trafficked and is the quick connection from Ketzin towards Potsdam. If you prefer to cycle along car-free cycle paths, you can take the ferry across the Havel in Ketzin and cycle back to Potsdam on the Havel cycle path via Werder.

The road surface is better than the comment suggests. Cobblestones are only a few 100m in Paretz. The connecting road is relatively light traffic, the asphalt rolls well. In itself a recommendable section for road bike tours from Potsdam.

Quiet connecting road between Uetz and Paretz, asphalt a bit uneven and bumpy, but still easy to ride with a racing bike. The cobblestones as usual in Brandenburg's villages, but you should be able to do that as a touring rider on a racing bike
