In the extreme south of Cologne, near Cologne-Porz, the Lülsdorfer Weiden flow into the Rhine in a semicircle. Over time, an original alluvial forest with ash and sycamore trees develops from the former poplar stock. The area is used, among other things, as a floodplain during high water and is therefore wonderfully original. Ideal for hiking!
