The large Milanese families built their summer residences and villas on the medieval Naviglio Grande canal and also on the other canals. The leading Visconti family is of course not lagging behind. In the small patch of Casinetta di Lugangnagno you will find this beautiful Visconti villa, which had been used here since 1392. Today's building was essentially built after 1700 and is of exquisite beauty.

The prestigious residence overlooking the Naviglio Grande in the magnificent Cassinetta di Lugagnano, an agricultural village among the most beautiful in Italy, has an ancient and illustrious origin. In fact, the land was already owned by the well-known aristocratic family of the Visconti in 1392, the year in which the irrigation ditch was dug which begins right in front of the villa.
