The Burchardkai container terminal is HHLA's largest terminal in the port of Hamburg. It is located on a 1.4 square kilometer area on the former Elbinsel Waltershof on the other side of the Container Terminal Hamburg of Eurogate
30 container bridges are available for loading and unloading container ships of all sizes at the more than 1400 meter long quay facilities. Connected huge block storage with a length of 380 meters each, a container train station, as well as places for the direct handling of the containers on trucks.
A spectacle worth seeing.

The currently largest container ship in the world is here on its maiden voyage on Burchardtkai, but will be heading for the port of Hamburg regularly in the future.
