Local convenience stores are plentiful, especially on the river path around Seoul, these are great for both hot and cold snacks. Some also have covered or indoor areas for use during winter, as well as hot water, microwaves and Ramyun making machines. These maybe not be on par with “Japanese convini” according to some but they are not to be sniffed at, especially when riding and water or a quick snack is required. These surpass anything similar in the west. Look out for Mini-Stop, GS24, Seven Eleven, CU and E-mart.
