Hiking

Due to its striking location directly on the edge of the Alps, the Grünten bears the epithet "Guardian of the Allgäu". Its main summit is called Übelhorn. On the summit region there is a Gebirgsjägerdenkmal and the transmitter Grünten, whose tower is visible from afar. On the mountain slopes are the Grüntenhaus and the Grüntenhütte.
