A big highlight of the lake is the spacious water playground on the south bank near the parking lot (at Sandstraße, 47198 Duisburg). There are, among other things, several water pumps with slush facilities, pulley blocks, two swings, a large wooden boat with a slide for climbing and access to the water (parental supervision is required here. If necessary, do not forget the swimming wings and diapers!). However, you have to provide shade yourself, because the playground is in the blazing sun. Nevertheless, it is very popular, so it is worth coming early on sunny weekends to get a parking space. In the afternoon it can get very crowded very quickly. Do not forget sunscreen under certain circumstances;)
