The church is a regular, Romanesque structure consisting of a west transverse tower, a nave of the same width and a recessed square choir with apse. The tower was formerly open inwards through two arcades. It was increased in 1892 with a double leadership. The Romanesque apse warriors are adorned with two winged cherubim heads. In front of the apse there is a Baroque pulpit altar and a simple Renaissance gallery on the walls.

The St. Margarethenkirche in Minsleben is probably the oldest building in the village and its complex dates back to the earliest Romanesque times. Despite some conversions to the church, some Romanesque parts are still clearly visible. There is a simple Renaissance gallery in the ship. In 1892 the upper part of the tower was provided with a double spire in the neo-Romanesque style. The church in Minsleben is named after St. Margaretha, a woman who stuck to her Christian faith even in difficult times. The parish belongs to the Halberstadt Evangelical Church District.Source: wernigerode-tourismus.de/sehen/kirchen/st-margarethenkirche
