The Crystal Palace Bowl has been a concert venue for over 60 years, hosting the like of The Cure, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley and The Beachboys in years gone by. Although it has an iconic sculptured stage (affectionately called The Laptop by local residents, it's rarely used for events these days but is a relaxing and peaceful place to stop and rest the legs.

A worthwhile climb to get to this London landmark, just don't let the name fool you, there's no palace nor crystals. However, it's beautiful in the morning frost, peaceful walking paths (or running with the Park Runners) and relaxing park benches. Surrounded by independent cafes and some unusal shops.

Crystal Palace is an iconic outdoor South London venue that has hosted some of the greatest names in music including Bob Marley and The Wailers. The platform and stage are positioned within a small lake overlooking a large bowl and is capable of holding 8,000 people.
