The karst springs on the Alb are fascinating. The best known is probably the Blautopf in Blaubeuren. But even the smaller ones, like the Kocherursprung, follow the same principle: water collects in the porous limestone and travels long distances in caves until it comes to the surface as a karst spring.
The Kocher origin is beautifully framed and invites you to take a break - and to be amazed.

The karst spring is located south of the city of Oberkochen at 499.2 m above sea level. NN on the western slopes of the valley. The source of the Kocher river flows through the Urbrenz valley in a north-easterly direction to Unterkochen, where it joins the Weißer Kocher.

It is very interesting to see how the crystal-clear water makes its way to the surface of the sky and the power with which it gushes onto the ground.
A sign explains a lot about the karst springs, which not everyone always knows.
Apart from that, it is of course also beautiful here and you can relax well.
