The Rhinower church is essentially an early Gothic field stone building from the second half of the 13th century. After a big fire in 1735, the rebuilding of the church began until 1740, as the date in the weather vane shows.
The church is a pilgrimage church on the way to and from Bad Wilsnack.

The murals date from the 18th century and show, among other things, the coat of arms of the von Hagen family. A golden sun shines high above the altar as a symbol of God. In the western part of the church there is a horseshoe gallery. The Lütkemüller organ that is located there was installed in 1848. Another work of art can be found in the lower part of the tower: a carved Pietà (Mary with the body of Christ), which dates from the early 15th century. The church was renovated in 2004-2012 and is a pilgrimage church on the way to and from Bad Wilsnack.Source: kirche-nauen-rathenow.de/index.php/kirchen-und-gemeinden/unsere-kirchen/rhinow
