Weißenstein Castle Ruins

High above the spa town of Regen, the majestic ruin of Burg Weissenstein towers over a quartz rock. Although only a few walls and towers have survived the huge complex, you get a great impression of the former dimensions. Every two years a big knight's spectacle takes place at the castle. Otherwise, you can also explore the castle from April to October on your own and climb up to the keep - the climb is worth it, because the view is really unique.

Unfortunately, the castle cannot be visited because of the risk of collapse.

The castle is very impressive from the outside! Unfortunately, the inside can no longer be viewed as it is very unstable and in need of renovation! Hope it will be done!
