    Hiking

High above the spa town of Regen, the majestic ruin of Burg Weissenstein towers over a quartz rock. Although only a few walls and towers have survived the huge complex, you get a great impression of the former dimensions. Every two years a big knight's spectacle takes place at the castle. Otherwise, you can also explore the castle from April to October on your own and climb up to the keep - the climb is worth it, because the view is really unique.

Opening times and entrance fees can be found at regen.de/unsere-stadt/faszination-weissenstein/burgruine-weissenstein.html.
