You have to climb a bit to reach the top, which is made up of a huge block of stone. The reward is an awe-inspiring view of the entire Cape Peninsula and mountain range. Be careful, the wind can blow extremely hard here!

Suther Peak is not far from Hout Bay and is best reached uphill from the car park to Sandy Beach. There are some steep climbing sections, and the actual peak is also more for experienced climbers. However, there is also a good place to sit and look out over Table Mountain, Lions Head and Klein Leeukoppie 10m in front of it. For the descent, we recommend the less steep path towards Hangberg.

Running
The way up is a bit of a challenge, because there are some big boulders waiting to be climbed. For this, an incredible view of the sea and the mountains of the Cape Peninsula awaits you. Although clouds and fog blocked a lot of the view during my visit, it was just great.
