If the traffic is not so flowing, it is a restful little town with a lot of medieval ambience.
Many great old half-timbered houses can be visited here and of course the Staufer Palatinate.
There are also enough opportunities to stop off more or less well-groomed.
Then you can take a trip across the Neckar to cycle on the Kochertal or Jagsttal cycle paths. Of course you can also cycle along the Neckar bike path from here.
Everything was very relaxed and nice and quiet in the city center.

Bad Wimpfen is always worth a stop. In December, the old German Christmas market is highly recommended.

Great historic town with numerous restaurants. The best way to leave your bike is somewhere and walk through the narrow and cobbled streets.

Because Bad Wimpfen has a beautiful old town. My pictures were taken at the top of the town hall during a short break.
You have to make a little effort to get up from the Neckar - but it's worth the effort!
If you don't visit, you've missed something!

Bad Wimpfen brought the old town center over the war. In contrast to Heilbronn, very little was destroyed. Half-timbered houses are therefore the original substance of the city center.

The city has done a lot to ensure that the historic half-timbered houses are preserved or beautifully renovated. After all, together with the many picturesque and winding streets, they also make up the charm of the place.
