The listed ruins of the former fortified church "Zum Heiligen Martin" are located in the center of Nöstach. Only the church tower and the defensive wall surrounding the tower and the old cemetery have survived from the original complex.
St. Martin was first mentioned in 1256. In 1782 the fortified church was profaned as part of the "Josephine Church Reform" by Emperor Joseph II. In 1786 it was released for demolition.
