A sign indicates that the tape path has been blocked; because of falling rocks, the inspection should only be undertaken at your own risk and responsibility. But a little further up there is an information sign for the "test person" and new, clear blue and white markings have been made.
The first hundred meters it goes up steeply, at the beginning through a somewhat confusing scree field, later on a good path over steeply sloping meadow slopes, a slip here would already have fatal consequences.
Further up comes the overcoming of the effective ledge; Well-stepped slabs of rock lead up steeply here, scrambling is enjoyable, as is the deep view ... Sometimes a grassy section, sometimes rock steps - the flank becomes steeper and steeper. Then one last grass passage goes around the grass nose, from which the path is now a little flatter, but again secured with a rope (a slip point) leads to the saddle at the Klimsenkapelle, where many paths meet.
When the weather is nice, you can enjoy wonderful views of Lake Lucerne and the cable car that brings the numerous foreign tourists up to Pilatus.
Oh yes: A head for heights and surefootedness are absolutely necessary on this path and dry conditions are recommended.

08/15/21 The rope is currently broken and not installed, but in dry conditions this point is not a problem even without the rope and in wet conditions this path is not recommended anyway!
