House Balma, Vals
House Balma also "House of Flying Stones"
The shape of the building is based on the geometric properties of the triangle and is reminiscent of a pagoda. On the one hand, this is related to the origin of the architect, but it was also coordinated with the shape of the property, so that the building blends harmoniously into the villagescape. Stone, wood and glass are the dominant elements of this building. The materials and techniques used refer to the local tradition and yet find a contemporary expression. In terms of colour, the stone roofs and the curtain with the stone and wood panels combine perfectly with the surrounding old stables.

Triangular base from above, facade with curtained wooden boards and Vals stone slabs, the architecture was designed by the famous Japanese star architect Kengo Kuma. Interesting!
