Karel Sabbe climbed here regularly in preparation for his FKTs for the Pacific Crest Trail (4,265 kilometers) and the Appalachian Trail (3,525 kilometers).
This is the only significant slope that you can reach from Ghent without having to get in the car.
There are several walking paths to the top.
