The harbor in Dagebüll is today the main connection between the mainland and the islands and islets in the North Frisian Wadden Sea. From here detours to Sylt, Amrum and Föhr are possible. Dagebüll used to be a hallig itself. The various districts are still defined today by the typical for Halligen jacks.
