It is very interesting to see how salt extraction works in the 150 ha area on Mallorca. Guided tours of the site with detailed explanations take around 45 minutes, with a visit in late August / early September being particularly worthwhile, as the salt harvest can be seen at this time. There is also a small salt shop where you can buy some salt to enjoy something of Mallorca at home.
