It used to be a port facility - at least that's how you find it on Komoot. Today (mid-August) only large heaps of gravel ... you can easily ride trekking bikes directly along the northern shore.

The Mittelland Canal always offers special experiences. In winter the canal can be completely frozen over. In summer there is a beautiful play of light between water and sun.
