The Church of the Nativity in Untereschenbach is an old fortified church. It was built in Romanesque times. Originally there was a wall around church and cemetery. In the 15th century, a reconstruction in the Gothic style took place. In 1568 the choir was raised by a fortified half-timbered building. In 1920 and 1973 the church was renovated.
