Nordic walking

This branch church goes back to a new baroque building from 1718 (inauguration). Until then, Christians always had to commute to the parish church in Simmerath - an arduous journey - almost like a small pilgrimage - you were on the move all day. The church received its current shape after extensive renovations and additions over a two-year construction period starting in 1972.

Hiking

This Dedenborn church was dedicated to Archangel Michael. The name (from the Hebrew) means "Who is like God?". He is often shown - in paintings or as a statue - with a flaming sword, occasionally also a lance. Along with Raphael, Gabriel, and Uriel, Michael is one of the four archangels who rank highest (in human conception) in the heavenly hierarchy of angelic beings. Their common feast day in the calendar of saints is September 29th.

Hiking

The Catholic parish church of St. Michael has existed since 1717 (portal inscription) and was expanded around 1973. In the interior of the old building there is a Stations of the Cross with expressive half-sculptures from the 17th century.
