The section between Gerd-Walter Linde and Fort Oberer Kuhberg is just beautiful. There are wonderful views in both directions. Across the Danube valley to Upper Swabia and into the Allgäu and on the other side the Blautal, the Eselsberg and the Michelsberg. From the fort you can still see the cathedral. Just awesome.
