The "Wildweiberhäuschen" is an approximately 30 m high rock south of Langenaubach. It is estimated to be around 360 million years old. It was created from coral limestone from a primordial sea. The legends about the "wild women" can be found in various collections up to the present day.
The "Wildweiberhäuschen" is one of the oldest nature reserves in Hesse and has been under protection since 1927
