Mountain Biking Highlight
The great house gives the impression of a normal residential building with the special feature that it is upside down.
All furnishings are attached to the upper end of the room and are also upside down.
The great house on the Edersee is a concrete wooden construction and was erected as the only house of its kind standing directly upside down. Since only the foundation and the "core" are made of concrete and the rest of the house made of wood, it could be built in a very short construction time. Nevertheless, it is a full-fledged house, the "other way round" would be quite suitable for living.
The great house on the Edersee has a total of 95 square meters of living space. 65 of them "upstairs" on the ground floor and 30 "downstairs" in the attic. In the attic there are three, on the ground floor 5 rooms. The floor of the house is tilted by several degrees, which puts the sense of balance of the visitors to the test. Together with the changed perspective, completely new sensory impressions arise.
The great house on Edersee is completely furnished like a "normal" house. For the whole family, there are many interesting details to discover and shoot some funny photo, on which the gravity seems to be lifted.
Experience this perspective from the headstand point of view.
The great house is an attraction that can be visited in wind and weather.
