Climbing over the ridge from Are Castle to Engelslay requires sure-footedness, fitness and a head for heights. And only walk in dry weather, as the slate rubble on the narrow and steep paths is too slippery when wet.

An adventure.
The path is not always recognizable at first glance, but at second and then everything is fine. You should be sure-footed and not be afraid of dirty hands. The view is magnificent, oh what I say, the view is fantastic.
I would not take the path across the Ley when wet.
