This Hawker Hurricane full-size replica is a lasting memorial to its designer and Windsor resident Sir Sydney Camm.

It bears the markings of an aircraft flown in the Battle of Britain by Squadron Leader John Grandy who later, as Marshal of the Royal Air Force, Sir John Grandy, was Constable and Governor of Windsor Castle from 1978-88.
