The sandy path is not far from the Atonement Cross. From here you can get to Kleinroda, from there to Donndorf Abbey, where you have a wonderful view of the Unstruttal.
Right at the beginning there is a nice rest area from which you have a great view of the Mottenborn and the Unstruttal.
There are bigger bounces on the way at regular intervals, so if you don't want to jump involuntarily with your bike, you should slow down especially when the grass is a bit higher.
