At 1,342 meters, the Unterberg in Lower Austria is one of the highest peaks in the Gutenstein Alps. It is located at the western end of the Piestingtal, also affectionately known as the Biedermeier Valley, and is not only a popular excursion destination during the snow-free season. In winter, the natural ski area provides skiing and skiing fun. And what is not recognizable: The Unterberg has always been accompanied by legendary stories and tales.
