The St. Michaels chapel on the Heiligenberg. In August there is an herb consecration in the field in front of the chapel.St. Michael's Chapel is also the place where the mother of St. James, Maria Salome, has been worshiped since around the 15th century. There are probably only a few other Maria Salome venues in Europe: in the Camargue in Les Samtes Maries de la Mer, in Veroli in Italy and ... in Santiago de Compostela.

Quite a large chapel on the Heiligenberg and a destination on the Jakobspilgerweg from Höxter towards Paderborn. Many marked stones give good wishes to everyone who is on the way. It's worth taking a little break up here.
