She is fully functional and one of the last eight mills in Berlin.

Cycling
Until 1936 the mill worked in the traditional way with wind power to produce flour. Then the wind operation was replaced by a diesel engine.
Today the Britzer Mühle is operated as a restaurant, café and bar.
