Ahead of its time, the mayor of St Ouen will build the Sollerot lighthouse in order to offer Audonians public lighting thanks to this 14-meter column which, with its acetylene lamps, will light up thirty houses in the town center until 10 p.m. On this column are indicated the goodness of the mayor with a few rants to the grumpy ones feeling "to be above the critics who did nothing to be useful to the sosiété" (spelling mistakes are numerous on the plates !)
