Hiking Highlight
The pretty chapel in the Kaisertal is probably the most photographed motif in the area of the Wilder Kaiser. It is a popular rest stop on longer tours through the Kaisertal and the most popular destination for moderate hikers. I like to pack a good snack and sit in front of the chapel in the sun. The view you enjoy here is incomparable.

Beautifully situated chapel overlooking the Kaisergebirge. On the easy to walk there are also some nice inns to stop.

Nearby there is a privately run inn where you get refreshments. And if you continue here you also come to the Vorderkaiserfelden hut, but that's a little bit further

The Antonius Chapel near the Hinterkaiserhof is one of the most popular points of contact in the Kaisertal. Beautifully located, ideal for a rest or short prayer. The chapel can be reached in an hour and a half from the hiking car park on the Kaiseraufstieg. Also ideal for families.
According to records, the Antonius chapel was built in gratitude by a farmer in 711, as the Bavarian War of Succession spared farm and cattle. The French army marched through the country in a destructive manner, and hardly one stone remained on the other in Ebbs.
