The Liniepad runs straight through the Haarlemmermeerpolder from the Ringvaart near Vijfhuizen, to the Ringvaart just below Aalsmeer.
It is a beautiful green quiet route through the Haarlemmermeerpolder.
You also go through the center of Hoofddorp without crowds, under the station.
The genie dike that is also on the route is part of the theorem of Amsterdam.A genie dike is a dike, usually water retaining, that was constructed by order of the genius and paid for by the Ministry of War / Defense.
In a number of cases 'geniedijk' is in the name, as with Kudelstaart, often the term 'linewal' is also used.
