St. Andreas Church Dabel

13th-century fieldstone church, restored in 1990.
Inside is a central shrine of a 15th-century carved altar and a 16th-century wooden baptistery.

Dabel was first mentioned in 1272. The center of the village is the church, dating from the early 15th century, a flat-roofed fieldstone hall with a tower of equal width. The parish offers a wide range of services open to everyone: a crèche, a daycare center, and an after-school care center. Christian education and confirmation classes, Scouts for children and young people, a children's choir, a brass band, a senior citizens' choir, a girls' band, carol singers, a tower musician, senior citizens' afternoons, and, above all, church services on Sundays and holidays, as well as concerts and exhibitions.
